1. 2010 UKG Advent Calendar

    As the year draws to a close, and the festive party season approaches at an alarming rate, it’s time to get back into the swing of things with the UKG★Mix Advent Calendar.

    We done one last year, which involved a new mix each day from the 1st December right through to 25th December.  It was hard work pulling it together, but it was so worth it in the end.

    The Advent Calendar will be appearing again this year, and we are gathering some quality mixes for your listening pleasure… but we can always do with more!

    We don’t limit ourselves to pure UKG here as UK Garage encompasses a lot of different genres, from 2-step to dub step, electro to grime, crack house to funky.  If it’s in the right BPM range and it’s got energy, we want to hear it!

  2. Numbers

    I’ve wanted to keep track of how many mixes are available on ukg mix so over the weekend, I added the mix count to the bottom of each page! It still needs some tweaking but it’s nearly there!

  3. Related Mixes

    Hey,

    I’ve been tweaking the site once again & have now added a ‘related mixes’ section to each mix CD posted to the site.  It’s not perfect and doesn’t always show – but there’s a reason for that!

    The related mixes section actually only links to mixes by that same DJ.  So if you’ve just listened to the latest DnR Promo CD and want to listen to some more DnR Mix CDs, then scroll down the page and you should see the related mixes section below the tracklisting.  This also allows a little bit more love for the older mixes in the archive!

    Also can’t believe we’re at over 60 mixes now!
